Envision the choices you will make when you are thinner. Each time you meditate, imagine yourself just a bit thinner, recommends McKenna.
Feel It
Imagine how you will physically feel as a thinner person. See yourself walking up stairs, playing with your children and exercising comfortably while breathing easily. Imagine yourself feeling calm and without stress because you are not worried about your health. See yourself shopping and easily finding beautiful clothing that fits you well. Each time you meditate, imagine more details of what your life as a thinner person will be like.
Taste It
In your mind's eye, see how you will dine as a thinner person. Envision the choices you will make at home and in restaurants. Imagine how the food will smell and taste. Imagine feeling satisfied with smaller portions, knowing that what you eat affects your weight and size. Imagine talking with a nutritionist and coming up with an eating plan that satisfies your hunger and keeps your weight in check. Imagine the pride you feel as a person who is in control of their health. Each time you meditate, imagine feeling more satisfied with your diet plan.
Experience It
Envision living the life of a thin person. See people greeting you happily. Imagine all the details of going out on the town with friends and family, enjoying time together. See yourself behaving confidently at work. Envision shaking hands and hugging people with ease. Each time you meditate, imagine new details about your life as a thin person.
Recall It
Whenever you are pleased with your NLP meditation, firmly press your middle finger and thumb together. This seals the memory in your psyche. If you should feel doubt during the day about your convictions to become thinner, press those fingers together to recreate the positive feelings that you felt during your meditations, advises McKenna.
