If you are a runner and have a child, a running pram seems like a logical choice. Running strollers' large, rust-resistant wheels differentiate them from other prams. These wheels play three roles in the running pram. They allow you to control the stroller better, decrease shock when you hit a bump, and maintain momentum. Top running prams include BOB Ironman Running Stroller, Schwinn Joyrider Running Stroller, Schwinn Free Runner ST 2 and Baby Jogger Performance.

BOB Ironman Running Stroller

This quality stroller handles smoothly and is the top stroller of the Ironman Triathlon. The wheels consist of a slick material and can handle any type of terrain you go over, from gravel to grass, cites JoggingStroller.com. The stiffer suspension in the stroller also allows you to maneuver and turn easily. The downside to this pram is that it lacks some of the comfort features for your child, such as a removable insert for extra padding.

Schwinn Joyrider Running Stroller

This 20" pram folds easily and is compact and easy to travel with. The Schwinn Joyrider glides over potholes, rough terrain and rocks with ease. Its comfort creates a soothing environment for children, allowing them to sleep when desired. This pram even features a reclining seat with extra padding. It's also lightweight with rear suspension and shocks. It should, however, be used only for children more that six months' old.

Schwinn Free Runner ST 2

More moderately priced, this double-seat running pram is great for the novice runner, according to Jogging Stroller.com. This pram seats children side by and side and contains many valuable features, such as an adjustable handle bar to accommodate for all different heights and one hand foldability. It allows your child to sit comfortably, as you run across different sorts of terrain.

Baby Jogger Performance

This lightweight pram features easy pushing ability while running or walking. Furthermore, it folds easily and travels well. The stroller also has a new brake system, which allows you to stop it effortlessly, according to Product Sifter. With a shock absorption system and a one-piece frame, your child can travel comfortably while you run. Furthermore, the Baby Jogger Performance contains all the compartments you'd need to store sunscreen, wipes or diapers, allowing your hands to be free while you run. However, you should avoid using this stroller on children younger than six months' old.
