Magic Pops are whole-grain snacks that are low in calories and fat-free. As the official product website explains, Magic Pops combine corn, brown rice and wheat into an airy, crispy treat similar to a rice cake. Because of the low calorie content, Magic Pops may be appropriate for weight loss diets and are acceptable for vegan diets.

Calorie Content

Kim's Magic Pop cakes are low in calories, as each piece contains just 15 calories. This amount provides less than 1 percent of the daily suggested calorie intake of 2,000. Although Magic Pop cakes are similar to rice cakes, they are significantly lower in calories; a typical rice cake contains between 35 and 70 calories, depending on the brand and flavor.

Carbohydrate Content

Carbohydrates provide all of the calories in Magic Pop cakes. Each Magic Pop cake contains 4 g of carbohydrates, with no sugar or fiber. Carbohydrates are your body's main source of energy, so consuming adequate levels is important. Kim's suggests topping your Magic Pop cakes with toppings such as jam, which will provide additional carbohydrates; a 1 tbsp. serving of strawberry jam contains 13 g of carbohydrates, 12 g of which come from sugar.

Protein Content

Magic Pop cakes are not a source of protein, with 0 g per serving. If you want to add protein to this snack, you could top your Magic Pop with hummus or peanut butter; a 2 tbsp. serving of peanut butter contains 8 g of protein but is high in calories, with 190 per serving.

Fat Content

Magic Pops contain no fat. Although rich in calories, fat is an essential nutrient your body needs for proper development and health. Fat also helps keep you feeling full. To add fat to a Magic Pop, you can top it with peanut butter; a 2 tbsp. serving provides 16 g of fat.

Sodium Content

Although many processed snack foods are rich in sodium, Magic Pops are not. Each Magic Pop contains just 20 mg of sodium, which amounts to 1 percent of the recommended daily intake.
