Getting Started
You can use Jenny Craig In-Centre if you want to meet your Jenny Craig consultant in person at your local Jenny Craig location, or choose Jenny Craig At Home if you prefer to consult your counselor over the phone. Jenny Craig offers programs for women and men, older adults, teens and individuals with Type 2 diabetes, and you can further customize your program during your first meeting with your Jenny Craig counselor, when you develop a meal plan.
Foods You Eat
A typically day includes the breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert or snack that you ordered from Jenny Craig, as well as additional fresh foods that you need to purchase for yourself. These include fruit, vegetables, whole grains and low-fat dairy products. You can choose your individual Jenny Craig meals from more than 80 choices or you can use the suggested menu. A sample day could include a cheddar cheese omelet for breakfast, clam chowder for lunch, sesame chicken for dinner and ginger bell cookies for dessert.
Weekly Meetings
The Jenny Craig program includes weekly one-on-one meetings with your Jenny Craig counselor, either over the telephone with Jenny Craig At Home, or in person with Jenny Craig In-Centre. You record your weight, discuss successes and challenges from the past week and order your foods and plan your activity for the coming week. Your counselor guides you through the Jenny Craig curriculum, which addresses portion-controlled nutrition, gradually increasing your activity and healthy lifestyle education and motivation.

Jenny Craig has an online community with forums where you can read and respond to others using Jenny Craig, and find support groups. Once you become a Jenny Craig client, you can create an account so you can update your profile, and you gain access to online program tools, such as online menu and activity planners and a journal.
