For some people, gaining weight is even harder than losing weight. Not everyone has the ability to stuff down food all day long to reach a high enough caloric surplus to pack on the pounds. There are a few tricks, however, to help you gain weight easily. Frequent eating, a little attention to caloric density, and less cardiovascular exercise help tremendously.
Tips and Warnings
- If eating every three hours starts to become difficult, consider adding in some low-intensity cardiovascular exercise to spike your appetite.
- While calories from unhealthy foods high in sugar or saturated fat do lead to weight gain, they may have a negative impact on your health. Take in as many calories from "clean" foods as possible and only consume "dirty" foods when necessary.
