The course focuses on learning to breathe correctly, learning new postures, increasing concentration, focus and flexibility. Vinyasa Flow
Vinyasa flow is training that is open to students with at least six months of experience in some form of yoga. Vinyasa is focused on the physical poses, asanas. The poses are challenging, using the Kripalu methodology and incorporating meditation. Vinyasa flow is a sequence of poses performed one after another without breaks, one exercise flowing into another. Vinyasa flow uses yoga poses based on earth, air, fire and water. The concept is that combining the different types of poses will help the student merge the practice with the natural flow of life. Vinyasa is meditation in motion, discussion and music combined to help the student learn and experience Kripalu Yoga techniques.
A Piece of Peace
A Piece of Peace, a San Francisco, Calif.-based yoga center, offers corporate Kripalu Yoga-training seminars. The Kripalu Yoga training is designed to teach stress-management skills, self-relaxation and coping skills. The seminars are split into four programs personal awareness training, self-relaxation training, coping skills training and basic yoga training. The yoga training incorporates instruction on breathing, meditation, deep rest and individual assistance during yoga. The seminars are designed for corporations and can be held at A Piece of Peace's location or at the corporate office. They are presented as a series of one-hour seminars, or can be held as an intensive one-day workshop.
Mixed Levels Kripalu Yoga
Full Circle Yoga is located in Orono, Maine. The company offers beginner and mixed levels Kripalu Yoga training. The mixed level Kripalu Yoga is open to beginners, but it is also challenging enough for more advance yoga practitioners. The class is customized to each student's skill level. The class starts with meditation and breath awareness. There is a warm-up period to prepare you for the yoga postures and then the student is guided through a sequence of yoga postures. The focus is on stretching, increasing balance, strength and relaxation.
