Wrestling is a contact sport that can result in physical injury. However, the use of double mouth guards can dramatically lower the risk of lip lacerations, broken, loss or displaced teeth and concussions. Double mouth guards are designed to cover the upper and lower teeth. These mouth guards are custom molded to the wrestlers teeth to ensure a fit that is comfortable while not being a hindrance to their performance.

Brain Pad Protective Solutions

Brain pad offers three types of double mouth guards specifically designed for wrestling. They are called Brain Pad 3XS, PRO+ and the LoPRO+. The Brain Pad models are each designed to dramatically reduce the force of impact received by a blow to the head or face. Tight holds and clinches are not aided by an inability to breathe. Each Brain Pad double mouth guard has a free breathing strip in the front, which enables the wrestler to breath through his mouth with his mouth closed and teeth clinched. This keeps the wrestler in a ready facial position with the jaw line in place and protected from unexpected contact.

Shock Doctor Double STC Mouth guard

Shock Doctor Inc. has developed STC mouth guard to feature air cushioned shock pads. These shock pads provide protection for upper and lower teeth. "STC" stands for super tight compression. This is gained through the use of a gel fit liner that molds to the wrestler's teeth. Once the STC is boiled the user simply clinches his teeth on the mouth guard to achieve custom fit. This mouth guard is not for use with braces.

Everlast Double Guard Mouth Guard

Everlast is a familiar and generally trusted name in the athletic equipment field. The Everlast Double Guard Mouth Guard offers upper- and lower-teeth protection. Wrestlers can breathe easier through the center hole in the mouth guard. It keeps the air flow from being closed off even with teeth clinched and mouth closed. The Everlast comes with a storage case that can keep the mouth guard clean and bacteria free while not in use.

Schutt AiR Standard Mouth Guard

Wrestlers may choose this mouth guard because it offers standard upper- and lower-jaw alignment, upper- and lower-teeth protection as well as a $6,500 dental warranty.
