Few things say summer like burgers and hot dogs cooking on the grill. And today, making burgers is easier than ever with products like Bubba Burgers, frozen beef patties that can be ready for eating in just a short time. Remember that the nutrition information for a Bubba Burger original beef patty is for the burger meat only and not the bun and any condiments you top it with.

Calories

A Bubba Burger beef patty contains 420 calories, of which 320 calories come from fat, the nutrition label states. If you follow a 2,000-calorie diet, the calorie content of the hamburger amounts to 21 percent of your total daily calories.

Fat

Each frozen Bubba Burger patty contains 36 g of total fat. The fat in the burgers includes 15 g of saturated fat, but they have no trans fat, monounsaturated fat or polyunsaturated fat. Each patty also has 110 mg of cholesterol. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommends that people limit fat intake to between 20 percent and 35 percent of total daily calories. Furthermore, saturated fat should account for no more than 10 percent of your total daily calories.

Sodium

Each Bubba Burger patty contains 85 mg of sodium, which is about 3 percent of the maximum recommended daily intake of 2,400 mg. The USDA Food Guide Pyramid recommends limiting sodium intake to reduce your risk for health conditions such as high blood pressure.

Carbohydrates

Bubba Burgers are a meat product and as such add no carbohydrates or dietary fiber to your daily intake. Keep in mind, though, that is you eat your burger on a bun your meal does add to your daily carbohydrate intake.

Protein

Bubba Burgers provide a good dietary source of protein, with 25 g of the nutrient in each beef patty. Unlike other dietary nutrients, the USDA does not set a minimum intake recommendation for protein because it is so plentiful in the typical American diet.

Vitamins and Minerals

Because Bubba Burgers are made from beef, they do serve as a good dietary source of iron, with 15 percent of the recommended daily intake in each patty. The burgers do not offer a good dietary source for any of the other essential vitamins and minerals.
