Drinks
Eight glasses of wine offers about 1,000 calories, as do about 96 oz. (about twelve 8-oz. glasses) of skim milk. Skim milk will provide the calories without the fat. About seven 12-oz. cans of regular soda also provides about 1,000 calories.
Snacks
About two to three dark chocolate bars offer approximately 1,000 calories, as does 6 oz. of peanuts
