Dark Green Vegetables
Eat your vegetables. Dark green vegetables contain a significant amount of folate, which aids in DNA repair and duplication. Most adults do not get enough dark green veggies in their diet. Blueberries contain the most powerful antioxidants of all berries, says the Mayo Clinic. Raspberries contain ellagic acid and flavonoids, which fight free radicals and prevent cancer. Cranberries contain the most phenols of all berries and help lower cholesterol and combat cancer.
