Core Rhythms is the name for a fitness program based on Latin dance moves. The instructors created their exercise program and collection of DVDs from their experience as professional dancers. The series is intended to make fitness fun by adding the element of dance and upbeat music. It can be difficult to keep up with the fast pace of the workout, especially during your first time. So, use the DVD's special features to break down the sequence and find each individual exercise.

Start your Core Rhythms DVD.
Step 2
Choose which workout you want to do from the main menu -- there are options for short and long workouts -- and start moving.
Step 3
Identify the individual exercises that you need help with and then go to the help section of the DVD to find them.
Step 4
Follow the help section instructions for the exercise you are looking for.
Tips and Warnings
- Make space to dance in. You don't need a ton of room, but just make sure the couch, coffee table and anything breakable won't be in your way when you exercise. Dress for exercise, not dancing. Wear comfortable flat shoes and exercise clothes.
- Talk to your doctor before beginning a new workout plan.
