1. Finding Candida

The Candida diet treats what is commonly known as a yeast infection. Many holistic practitioners believe that an over growth of Candida can be effectively treated by diet. There are foods on the market that have probiotics included, and many people on the Candida diet take these supplements. Probiotics boost the digestive system and are recommended after a course of antibiotics to help put the Candida population of a patient's body back in the proper balance. Be sure when taking some good microorganisms that they are not in something with sugars or simple carbohydrates or other off-limit foods. Probiotics are also available in supplement form.
