When mixed with steamed milk, this spicy tea becomes a comforting morning -- or anytime -- treat and a tasty way to meet some of your nutritional needs.

Tazo Chai Tea Latte

Starbucks bases all of its nutritional information on standardized recipes. However, each beverage is made by hand, to order, so variances in nutritional content exist. A Grande, 16-oz. Tazo Chai Tea Latte contains 100 mg of caffeine. Customers can choose from steamed whole, low-fat, nonfat or soy milk to customize their beverages.

Chai Tea Latte with Whole Milk

A 16-oz. Grande Chai Tea Latte prepared with whole milk contains 260 calories, 7 g of fat, 30 mg of cholesterol and 43 g of total carbohydrates. It also provides 7 g of protein and 25 percent of the daily value for calcium, based on a 2,000 calorie diet. You will also get 4 percent of the daily value for vitamin A and 2 percent of the daily value for iron.

Chai Tea Latte with Low-Fat Milk

Choosing 2 percent low-fat milk for your Chai Tea Latte will shave off 20 calories and 3 g of fat. Each 16-oz. serving of Starbucks Chai Tea Latte with low-fat milk contains 240 calories, 4 g of fat, 15 mg of cholesterol and 44 g of total carbohydrates.
