Consumer Information on the Exercise Equipment Called Cardio Twister

The Cardio Twister is offered by Tristar Products, a company that sells a variety of celebrity-endorsed fitness, health, beauty and home appliance products. This stepping machine combines the motion of stepping with a twisting motion to purportedly work more muscle groups than traditional steppers. Some assembly is required with the equipment, and it comes with a limited guarantee and warranty.

Assembly

The Cardio Twister comes with instructions on assembling the equipment. The company claims it should take about 20 minutes to assemble. When unpacked from the box, the contents consist of a few unit pieces and different sizes of screws and nuts. Assembly primarily involves assembling the handlebar, connecting it to the main unit pieces, positioning the rubber feet and installing the computer.

Use

The Cardio Twister comes with a speed and resistance control lever to change the intensity. Place one foot on one of the pedals to mount it. Grip the handlebars. Push the pedal all the way down on the base before placing your opposite foot on the opposite pedal. Step up and down on the pedals in a smooth, easy movement. Monitor the personal training computer to keep track of your total steps, step rate per minute, workout time and calories burned.

Guarantee

Cardio Twister guarantees you will lose up to 10 inches in 10 days. If you do not, you may return the equipment within 30 days for a full refund; however, you must pay for the return shipping for which you will not be reimbursed. The company also provides a 60-day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the equipment during that time frame, the company will refund the purchase price after you send the unit back.

Warranty

The Cardio Twister comes with a 60-day warranty valid from the day of purchase. It covers defects in materials and workmanship; normal wear and tear is not covered, and the warranty only covers the original purchaser. For warranty repairs or replacement, you must ship the Cardio Twister back to the company with a copy of the original receipt, an explanation of the defect, and payment to cover the return postage and handling.
