Although creating an exercise program on your own isn't incredibly difficult, you may find adopting one used by a celebrity to be beneficial and convenient. Many celebrities have top personal trainers who can design effective workout programs, and using such a plan can allow you to pursue similar results without the high cost of a trainer. You should consult a medical professional, however, before adopting any fitness plan.

Cameron Diaz

As "Fitness" magazine explains, Cameron Diaz adopted an intense workout plan to get in shape for her appearance in the movie "The Green Hornet." The workout was intended to improve Diaz's athleticism and may also improve your body composition. According to "Fitness," the workout included moves such as a jumping kick and pushups paired with dumbbell rows and weighted crunches.

Gerard Butler

Gerard Butler's workout for the movie "300" is also known as the "300 Workout." According to Bodybuilding.com, this workout helped some actors transform overweight physiques into lean, muscular ones. The workout consists of 300 total repetitions of exercises such as pullups, pushups, box jumps and deadlifts. As Bodybuilding.com notes, you do not rest between exercises, but move from one to another quickly until you have completed the circuit.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow's workout was designed by her trainer, Tracy Anderson. According to online exercise resource The Celebrity Workout, Paltrow's exercise regime consists of 45 minutes of dance cardio, five minutes of arm exercises, and 26 minutes of leg exercises. Although this workout may be helpful for improving your cardiovascular endurance and lower body strength, it is not an ideal workout for arms.

Hugh Jackman

In order to portray the superhuman Wolverine in "X-Men," Hugh Jackman needed to build a significant amount of muscle mass. Bodybuilding.com explains that Jackman's workout routine was broken into body parts, with major muscle groups each receiving one day of work. Jackman worked out five times weekly, hitting his chest, back, legs, shoulders and arms. On day six, Jackman worked on his flexibility by doing yoga, and day seven was a rest day.
