As you get older, the skin on your face and neck can start to sag. As disconcerting as this may be, there is a solution, and it doesn't involve going under the knife. In fact, you can perform exercises with your face and neck that tighten the skin and give you a more youthful appearance with fewer wrinkles and better circulation.
Cheek Stretch
Stretching your cheeks can help to smooth out wrinkles on your face and strengthen the underlying muscles so the skin won't sag on your cheekbones. To perform this exercise, puff up your cheeks with air. Force the air from one cheek to the other. Repeat for several seconds. Take a breath and repeat.
Kiss the Sky
An exercise you can do to tighten your neck skin is kissing the sky. This is performed by sitting in a chair with your back straight and your head facing forward. Then tilt your head until you can see the sky or ceiling. Pretend you're kissing the sky. Really protrude your lips outward as much as possible. Hold for several seconds then relax. Repeat this exercise whenever you want a neck lifting boost throughout the day.
Inner Eyebrow Smoother
A problem area on the face is often between the eyebrows. Where you furrow your brows when perplexed can often leave a deep wrinkle. To lessen this, use your index finger to press on the skin in between your eyebrows. Push it upward as you try to push your eyebrows downward. Hold for several seconds and repeat.
Bottom Lip Up
Another exercise you can do for your neck is to place your bottom up over your top lip. It might sound silly, but this maneuver stretches your neck. While in this position, tilt your head back until you're looking at the sky. Hold for several seconds and bring your head forward again slowly before uncovering your upper lip.
