The Typical Nutrisystem Meal

If you are overweight, you may be considering a diet delivery program to make your weight loss journey easier. Nutrisystem delivers a prepared breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert or snack for each day, and you also eat foods you buy from the grocery store to supplement the meals. While information about Nutrisystem's typical meals can give you an idea of the plan, your own Nutrisystem experience will be one of a kind because you can individually select most of your meals.

Diet Background

Nutrisystem offers a plan for you whether you are a man or woman, or you choose the regular program or Nutrisystem for older adults or for individuals with Type 2 diabetes. Nutrisystem Basic plans include three ready-to-go Nutrisystem meals and a snack, and the more expensive Nutrisystem Select plans include 10 days of fresh-frozen meals and 18 days of ready-to-go choices. You can select each of your ready-to-go meals individually, but the frozen foods are not customizable. Supplement your Nutrisystem meals with grocery additions, such as low-fat dairy, lean protein, fruit, vegetables and healthy fats, according to the meal plan you receive when you sign up.
