How to Lose Weight by Juicing

Putting together foods in a juicing machine to extract and consume their juices is called juicing. Juicing can help you lose weight in a very cost-effective and nutritious way. The main benefit of juicing is that it gives you the vital micronutrients such as vitamins, enzymes and antioxidants. Juices are also very low in calories and contain no dietary fat.

Step 1

Purchase a high-quality juicing machine that can blend hard fruits like apples and pears. It should also be able to juice leaves, such as wheat grass. You can find high-quality juicers in restaurant equipment specialty stores, large chain department stores or online.

Use plenty of dark green vegetables to make your juices. Add broccoli, celery, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage and spinach. Create a variety of combinations of other vegetables as well to increase your vitamin intake. Add potent spices such as cayenne or paprika to your juices to help with weight loss. These spices contain a compound called capsicum, which is effective in boosting metabolism.

Add fruit to add flavor to naturally sweeten your juices. Use apples, kiwi and strawberries, which are high in fiber. Fiber helps you shed weight by sticking to fatty acids and cholesterol in the foods you consume, making your stool bulky, thereby eliminating it through excretion.
