This model has received high marks from a variety of fitness equipment review sources, and is considered to be a good value buy if you are on a budget.

You can purchase the NordicTrack AudioStrider 990 PRO online at NordicTrack.com for about $1,000 as of February 2011; however, the website periodically offers online discounts up to $100 off. Other online retailers, such as Sears.com, list the regular price of the 990 PRO at $1,299, but offers an online price of $999 without an additional discount. NordicTrack includes free shipping and a "Bill-Me-Later" option on orders of $125 or more. The elliptical must be paid in full within six months under the "Bill-Me-Later" option in order to avoid interest charges.

Features
The 990 PRO comes with a number of advanced features to enhance your elliptical workout. The machine includes a power incline and has a rear drive design. Considerations
The 990 PRO is built for light to moderate use, and is therefore not built with the highest-quality elliptical trainer parts. One indicator of this is the elliptical's maximum weight load capacity of 250 lbs., significantly lower than the industry standard. The 990 PRO comes with a short warranty that covers parts and labor, indicating that components will likely break or wear out easily.
