Juice Plus+ is a supplement that combines juice powder concentrates from a variety of fruits and vegetables with added vitamins and fiber. The product is marketed as a whole foods blend that complements the diets of individuals who do not consume enough fruits and vegetables. The product provides antioxidants above the recommended daily value. The manufacturer of Juice Plus+ states this product should not be used in place of fresh produce.

Orchard Blend

Orchard Blend Juice Plus+ is a blend of fruit juice powders, pulp, some additional vitamins, date and prune fiber. Fruits listed on the label include apple, orange, pineapple, cranberry, peach, acerola cherry and papaya. Two capsules provide 110 percent of the daily value for vitamin A in the form of beta carotene, 320 percent of the daily value for vitamin C, 70 percent for vitamin E and 35 percent for folate. The capsules contain 2 percent of the daily values for iron and calcium. There is no fat and less than 1 g of dietary fiber, protein and sugar.

Garden Blend

The Garden formula blends vegetable juice powders and pulp from carrots, parsley, beets, kale, broccoli, cabbage spinach and tomato. It also has additional vitamins, sugarbeet fiber and bran from oat and rice. A serving, or two capsules, provides 140 percent of the daily value for vitamin A in the form of beta carotene, 70 percent of the daily value for vitamin C, 80 percent for vitamin E and 70 percent for folate. The capsules contain 2 percent of the daily value for iron and 4 percent for calcium. There is no fat and less than 1 g dietary fiber, protein and sugar.

Chewables

Juice Plus+ Garden and Orchard Blends are both available as soft gummy chewables. Two chewable Orchard gummies provide 32 percent of the daily value for vitamin A, 42 percent for vitamin C and 23 percent for vitamin E. The Garden blend has 40 percent of the daily value for vitamin A, 15 percent for vitamin C and 23 percent for vitamin E. There is no calcium or iron in these products. The chewables provide 1 g dietary fiber for every two gummies.

NSF Certification

Juice Plus+ products carry the NSF label. This means the third-party organization, NSF International, tested samples of the Juice Plus+ products to ensure the actual contents of the product matches the label. It also assures the product does not contain ingredients that are not listed and that there are no unacceptable levels of contaminants present in the supplement.
