Other ProForm Treadmills

The fold-away treadmills available on the ProForm website in March 2011 can handle user weights of 300, 325 or 350 lbs., depending on the specific model. The newer ProForm treadmills don't necessarily weigh more than the Crosswalk 370e. For example, the ProForm 850T, available in March 2011, weighs 110 lbs. and has a maximum user capacity of 325 lbs. This is a fold-away unit like the Crosswalk 370e.

Features

The Crosswalk 370e offers basic features. It folds up vertically to save floor space. You can roll it on the front transport wheels and store it in a closet or against the wall. The 370e is one of several ProForm treadmills in the Crosswalk series. These machines have upper body arms so you get an upper and lower body workout. The console features an accessory tray, book holder and a thumb pulse sensor so you can check your heart rate.

Programs

The Crosswalk 370e has a calorie goal feature. When you start your workout, you can choose a calorie goal. The treadmill counts down from your goal to 0. The 370e offers two preset workout programs: the 5K run program and the 30-minute challenge program. The 5K program gradually increases your speed to 6.5 mph. Once you finish 5 kilometers, the treadmill slows the walking belt and moves to a cooldown phase. The 370e divides the 30-minute challenge program into 30 one-minute segments each with a preset speed. At the end of the 30 minutes, the treadmill begins a cooldown phase.
