Use Fruits and Vegetables to Fill Up

Fruits and vegetables are loaded with fiber, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. They are also very low in calories. When you combine these together, it is easy to see why they are the building blocks of a healthy diet. Every single meal that you eat should include fruits or vegetables. When you want a snack, fruits and vegetables should be your first choice. As part of a healthy diet, you should attempt to have five servings of fruits and vegetables every day.

Eat More Protein

Protein provides fuel for your body. Your body breaks down the protein from the foods you eat into amino acids that are used for energy, growth and maintaining your organs, tissues and cells. If you fail to get enough protein into your diet, your immune system may become weakened, your muscle mass may be reduced, and your respiratory system and heart may be more susceptible to damage.
