Serious Side Effects

Serious side effects include sudden breathing problems, chest pain, lower back pain and severe blistering of the skin. Lenalidomide can also lead to bleeding, bruising, pain, muscle weakness, skin rash and tachycardia, which is fast heartbeats, or bradycardia, which is slow heartbeats.

Mild Side Effects

According to Medline Plus, lenalidomide may lead to less severe side effects, including diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, weight loss and dizziness. Users may also experience fatigue, poor appetite, weight loss, headache, insomnia, itching and depression.
