If calcium intake is of concern to you, you can be reassured that there are a variety of foods available that do not contain calcium. Some of the foods naturally contain zero amounts of calcium, while other foods are manufactured to be that way. Either way, there is something to satisfy your palate and nutritional concerns.

Oils

According to the USDA, there are a variety of oils in our food supply that do not contain calcium. The oils can come from animal-based sources such as beef, turkey, chicken, lamb, veal or other red meat varieties and their drippings.

Or, the calcium-free oils can come from plant-based sources such as flax seeds, grape seed, coconut, vegetable, hazelnut, mustard, soy, walnuts, corn, sunflower seed, canola, olives or peanuts cites the USDA.

According to the USDA, varieties of mayonnaise can contain large amounts of Omega-6 fatty acids which can protect the cardiovascular system. Margarines

Margarines can run the gamut from vegetable-oil spread to plant sterol-enriched versions. The margarines can be manufactured with or without added salt and/or sugar. The spreads can be purchased in stick form or in a tub. Candy

You can consume a multitude of candy that does not contain any calcium. Chewing gum falls in the candy category according to the USDA. You can enjoy some hard candies such as peppermint and other mint varieties, root beer and cinnamon flavors without getting any calcium. Licorice, either red or black versions are available.
