Each serving contains 2 g of protein and 3 g of dietary fiber, as well as 100 percent of your DV of vitamin C, E, B-6, B-12, calcium, iron, riboflavin and zinc.
General Mills Cheerios
General Mills boasts that made with whole grain, Cheerios is the only ready-to-eat cereal clinically proven to lower cholesterol when eaten as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol. Cheerios is an oat-based cereal. It contains no cholesterol, and only 2 g of fat -- with no saturated fat. It contains 3 g each of fiber and protein. Cheerios is rich in folic acid with 50 percent of the daily value per serving.
Post Grape-Nuts
According to the manufacturer, Post Grape-Nuts is a 100 percent natural cereal made from natural whole-grain wheat with barley. Grape-nuts contain an incredible 52 g of whole grains per 1/2-cup serving. Each serving contains 200 calories, with 1 g of fat, 6 g of protein and 7 g of fiber. Grape Nuts is high in iron with 90 percent of the daily value per serving; it is also rich in folic acid with 50 percent of the DV per serving.
