The goal in lacrosse is very similar to the goals in field hockey and ice hockey. A lacrosse goal consists of a metal frame with a triangular mesh net attached to the back of it. Like most netted goals, regular use of a lacrosse net puts some wear and tear on the net's meshing, resulting in open holes and tears in the net. Replacing your goal's netting is a simple task that you can do by yourself.
Step 1
Assemble the goal frame according to the manufacturer's instruction. If the goal frame already exists, you can skip this step.
Step 2
Lay the net on the ground, and locate the top four corners. The corners should be labeled. If they are not, find where the seams come together in a triangular shape; this is the top of net.
Step 3
Attach the four corners first, and hold them in place using the zip ties.
Step 4
Thread the nylon rope around the frame and through every other individual mesh square around the entire goal. Pull the rope tight to reinforce the net.
