However, an unhealthy aspect of Nutrisystem is that it does not prepare you for life after the diet by teaching you how to make healthy food.
Considerations
Nutrisystem may be healthy for vegetarian weight loss because it provides balanced, meat-free options. You may not use Nutrisystem if you have celiac disease and are not able to eat foods with gluten because Nutrisystem meals contain gluten. Nutrisystem may be healthy if you have Type 2 diabetes, as the foods are low on the glycemic index, to prevent spikes in your blood sugar levels. Many factors affect your blood sugar regulation if you have diabetes, so check with your doctor before starting the diet.
