Kundalini comes from the word "kundal," which means "lock of hair from the beloved." The uncoiling of this hair is the awakening of kundalini energy, the creative potential that already exists in every human. Kundalini yoga incorporates yoga poses, breathing exercises, body locks, mudras, kriyas, meditation and relaxation. To become a level two certified Kundalini yoga instructor, you must complete 300 hours of training to develop intuition, neutrality and self-assessment within the five mirrors of consciousness.
Step 1
Complete level one Kundalini teacher training.
Step 2
Find a level two Kundalini teacher training course and enroll. Find trainers and training courses at www.kundaliniresearchinstitute.org.
Step 3
Complete five 62-hour modules of training, which equals over 300 hours. Covered topics include conscious communication, authentic relationships, life cycles, lifestyles, vitality, stress, and mind and meditation.
Step 4
Successfully complete the certification exam at 75% or higher. Study manuals, study groups and teacher support are provided in preparation for written exam.
