The face is a part of the body that cannot be ignored, being that you look at someone's face when you are talking to them. Over the course of time, the skin on the face can begin to sag and develop wrinkles due to the aging process. Although skin creams and supplements can help restore elasticity and appearance to a certain degree, you can also exercise your face to strengthen muscles and keep your skin more taut.
Step 1
Imagine the corners of your lips touching your ears. Start from a lying, seated or standing position with your lips closed and teeth together. Smile as wide as you can, then bring your lips together and push them straight out like you are kissing somebody. Hold each position for one second. Do 10 to 12 reps total and three to four sets.
Step 2
Place three fingers of each hand on your cheeks. Tilt your head back and look up at the ceiling. Push your cheeks downward while simultaneously making a big smile. Hold for a second, release and repeat for 10 to 12 reps. Do three to four sets.
Step 3
Do a forehead exercise with your eyes closed. Place your index fingers horizontally across your eyelids. Push downward as you simultaneously lift your eyebrows up in the air. Hold for a second, release and repeat ten to twelve times. Do three to four sets.
Step 4
Suck your cheeks in. Close your lips but keep your jaws apart. Draw your cheeks in towards each other as far as you can and hold for 10 to 15 seconds. Release and repeat ten to twelve times. Make sure you do not put too much pressure down on your teeth to prevent cutting the insides of your cheeks.
Step 5
Sit in a chair and look up at the ceiling, Take your bottom lip and push it straight up over your upper lip. Hold for a second and lower it back down. Do 10 to 12 reps and three to four sets.
