The Lifestride 9500HR Treadmill from Life Fitness is a high end model that can be purchased for commercial and professional use. Features of the Lifestride 9500HR Treadmill include a high tech shock absorption system, heart rate monitoring, max weight of 400 pounds, and optional LCD television screen. If you have a Lifestride 9500HR Treadmill and it malfunctions, you can perform some basic troubleshooting to resolve the issue. Step 1
Adjust the walking belt. If the belt of your Lifestride 9500HR Treadmill is off center or feels loose, you can adjust it to resolve the issue. To give the belt more tension, turn the bolts at the back of the belt in a clockwise direction. If the belt is off center, you can turn the left bolt counter clockwise to move it to the left and clockwise to move it more to the right.
Step 2
Test the fuse and outlet of your treadmill. If the Lifestride 9500HR Treadmill will not power on make sure the outlet you are using has power. You can also check to make sure there are not any blown household fuses. You may need to reset the breaker in the home as well to restore power to the treadmill.
Step 3
Lubricate the belt of your treadmill. If you notice a lot of friction during use, you may need to lubricate the belt. Put the Lifestride 9500HR Treadmill on the lowest setting and spray the deck with a thin layer of silicone based belt spray. Continue to allow the belt to run until all parts are lubricated.
Step 4
Clean the treadmill. If you notice a burning smell, it could be a build up of debris and dust in the machine. You should first unplug the treadmill. Remove the deck bolts with a screwdriver in order to access under the belt and the motor. Spray the area with a can of compressed air.
