Myoplex and Nutrition

Myoplex is a nutritional supplement designed for athletes needing nutrients for workouts, competitions or as a daily supplement. EAS developed and markets the Myoplex supplement and sells Myoplex in individually packaged units. Each packed unit of Myoplex contains 100 percent of the daily requirements for many vitamins, minerals, protein, carbohydrates and other nutrients.

EAS engineered Myoplex to provide essential nutrients to your body. The supplement has 42 g of high-quality protein, 24 vitamins and minerals and both essential and nonessential amino acids. The liquid shake form of Myoplex allows your body to easily absorb the nutrients in the supplement without taxing your digestive system. According to the manufacturer, you can take Myoplex within thirty minutes after your workout, or you can use the supplement as a meal replacement.

Ingredients

Myoplex contains milk ingredients, and if you have allergies to milk products, you should not consume this supplement. Myoplex's primary ingredients are calcium caseinate, whey protein and milk protein concentrate. Additional ingredients include vitamin A palmitate, beta-carotene, vitamin D3, zinc gluconate, thiamin hydrochloride and phytonadione.

Nutrition

Myoplex contains 300 calories per 17 oz serving. Additionally, Myoplex contains 7 g fat, 25 mg cholesterol, 280 mg sodium, 19 g carbohydrate and 42 g protein. A serving of Myoplex contains vitamins A, C, D, E, K, B6, B12, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate, biotin and pantothenic acid. Minerals in Myoplex include calcium, iron, phosphorus, iodine, magnesium, zinc, selenium, copper, manganese, chromium, molybdenum and chloride.
