Indoor electric grills are convenient and allow you to enjoy smoky flavors no matter the weather or location. Marinating rib-eye steaks will increase their tenderness and flavor, but it's not necessary as it would be for a flank, skirt or another tougher cut of steak. Grilling rib-eye steaks takes a very short time, so it's wise to have everything else being served ready to go before you put them on the grill.
Step 1
Spray your indoor grill with nonstick cooking spray and turn the heat on high. Grilling rib-eye steaks on high allows you to sear the outsides while leaving the insides tender and pink.
Step 2
Lay your rib eyes on the hot gill, brushing the tops with marinade or your favorite seasoning.
Step 3
Cook the rib eyes for five to seven minutes.
Step 4
Turn the rib eyes with tongs to avoid puncturing them and letting the juices escape, seasoning again. Let them cook for another five to seven minutes.
Step 5
Remove the rib eyes from the grill when inserting an instant-read thermometer shows an internal temperature of 140 degrees F for rare steaks to 170 degrees F for well done.
