Antioxidants benefit your body by eliminating toxins that build up over the years. These toxins make it difficult to lose weight by slowing down your metabolism. Juicing is one method of introducing antioxidants to your body without increasing calories and fat. Through juicing, your weight loss efforts can be sped up as your organs and metabolism are made to run more efficiently. Before beginning any weight-loss program, always consult your doctor to ensure you do not aggravate any existing health conditions.

Step 1

Drink freshly prepared vegetable or fruit juices as a replacement for meals or in between meals. These juices help suppress your appetite, preventing you from overeating, according to Rika Susan. Do not add anything to your vegetables or fruit. Juicing requires natural fruit and vegetable juices without sugars or other additives.

Step 2

Fast once monthly on juices. Juice fasting cleanses your colon and causes nutrients to be absorbed more efficiently. According to Tom McGregor, author of "Eating in Freedom," this increases your energy, causing you to burn more fat.

Step 3

Exercise at least three times per week while you are juicing. Taking in fewer calories will cause you to lose weight; however, exercise is needed to prevent muscle loss. Weight training, running, cycling and aerobic exercise are best at preventing muscle loss and helping burn fat quickly.

Step 4

Drink equal amounts of fruit juices and vegetable juices per day. Vegetables and fruits all contain certain nutrients you need. While one side provides fiber, the other side offers vitamins B and C among other benefits. For this reason, you must keep your juicing balanced as you would solid food.

Step 5

Know when to quit. Juicing is a wonderful weight-loss plan, but going forward with this diet for longer than two weeks can have serious implications for your health. Your body needs adequate protein, which you do not get from juicing.
