Calories and Carbohydrates
A serving size of Lipton instant tea is 1 1/2 tbsp., which makes 8 fluid oz. when prepared with water. One serving of Lipton Wild Raspberry Iced Tea contains 80 calories and 19 g of carbohydrates, all coming from sugar. Not all Lipton iced tea varieties contain sugar. Lipton To Go instant teas contain 0 calories and are sugar-free.
Vitamin C
Many varieties of Lipton instant tea contain a significant amount of vitamin C. The Lipton Wild Raspberry Iced Tea contains about 10 percent of the daily value for vitamin C, based on a 2,000-calorie diet. According to the Office of Dietary Supplements by the National Institutes of Health, vitamin C is important to reduce the risk of health conditions caused by free radicals; adult men need about 90 mg of vitamin C per day, while adult women need about 75 mg per day.
Riboflavin
Riboflavin, also known as vitamin B-2, is another antioxidant found in Lipton instant teas. Lipton Energize Green Tea To Go with Blueberry Pomegranate Flavor contains about 10 percent of the daily value for this vitamin. B-2 also helps the body use folate and vitamin B-6 more effectively. Adult men need about 1.4 mg of riboflavin per day, and adult women need about 1.6 mg per day.
Vitamin B-6
Vitamin B-6, also found in some Lipton instant teas, is important to maintain a strong and healthy immune system, to build red blood cells, to maintain the nervous system and to process protein. The Lipton Energize Green Tea To Go with Blueberry Pomegranate Flavor contains about 10 percent of the daily value for vitamin B-6. Most adults under age 50 need about 1.3 mg of vitamin B-6; after age 50, men need about 1.7 mg and women need about 1.5 mg.
Pantothenic Acid

Niacin
Some Lipton instant teas can also provide niacin, or vitamin B-3, which helps maintain the health of the nervous system, skin, and digestion. The Lipton Energize Green Tea To Go with Blueberry Pomegranate Flavor contains about 10 percent of the daily value for B-3. Men need a daily intake of about 16 mg of niacin, while women need a daily intake of about 14 mg.
