Aloka Life
While Aloka Life yoga training is headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut, workshops and training sessions are also available in New York and New England. According to its website, the studio offers teacher trainings for people of all levels. As of October 2010, Aloka Life has two types of certification programs, the Yoga Alliance Teacher Training Certification and the Aloka Life Level One Teacher Training Certification. The Aloka Life Yoga Level One Teacher Training Certification is a 32-hour course held over two weekends. It is directed toward health care professionals and those interested in improving their comprehension of yoga. The course reviews human functional anatomy, breathing exercises and meditation. The Aloka Life Yoga Alliance Certification is a 200-hour program designed to help teachers interact holistically with their students and understand individual needs. Topics include body balance, stress reduction, anatomy and physiology as well as the Yogic Texts.

Discover Yoga
Redmond, Washington, is home to Discover Yoga, which offers classes for students ranging from beginner to those who wish to teach yoga themselves. Discover Yoga's programs include the 150-hour deeper study program, which lasts seven months and the 50-hour apprenticeship program, which lasts five months. Discover Yoga also offers a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certified program for prospective instructors. All courses at Discover Yoga cover techniques, group practice, yogic philosophy, anatomy and physiology and home study. Prospective participants are expected to attend all training sessions, finish all homework assignments and dedicate themselves to a habitual yoga practice.
