Bruschetta is an appetizer originating in Italy. It consists of diced tomatoes, which make up the biggest part of the bruschetta, spices like garlic and basil among others and olive oil. This is mixed and eaten on toasted breads, as a dip or a topping. The flavor of bruschetta is robust and rich with tomatoes, which can go well with a pizza. Leftover slices can be stored for later use in the freezer with a few tips.

Step 1

Cut the pizza into individual slices with a knife or pizza cutter.

Step 2

Wrap each individual slice in foil paper. Pat down and make sure the slice is totally covered by the foil and does not contain any air pockets.

Step 3

Place the wrapped slices in plastic food storage bags. These bags come in different sizes and can accommodate a variety of foods. Store the bags in the freezer.
