What Are Therapeutic-M Vitamins?

Therapeutic-M vitamin supplements combine multivitamins and minerals normally found in food and other natural sources. Therapeutic-M vitamins can provide vitamins and minerals you do not receive through your normal diet and can also treat many deficiencies in your body. In many cases an unfavorable condition such as illness, digestive disorders, pregnancy, poor nutrition or certain medications cause vitamin and mineral deficiencies in your body. You should always seek the advice of a medical professional before taking any vitamin supplement including therapeutic-M vitamins.

Nutrients

The exact formulation of Therapeutic-M will vary slightly by product manufacturer. Therapeutic-M vitamins typically contains biotin, riboflavin or vitamin B2, manganese, vitamin C, vitamin D, niacin and magnesium. Additionally, Therapeutic-M products normally contain lutein, iron, phosphorus, vitamin E, zinc, molybdenum and potassium. Further, Therapeutic-M typically contains copper, iodine, selenium, chloride, vitamin K, pantothenic acid and chromium. Additional ingredients usually include tin, vanadium, calcium, vitamin B6, thiamin, vitamin A, boron, nickel and silicon. Other non-nutrient ingredients typically found in Therapeutic-M include cellulose, modified cellulose gum, vegetable stearine, maltodextrin, starch, titanium dioxide and magnesium stearate.

Check the Label

Before you take Therapeutic-M vitamin supplements you should always check the ingredients on the product label and verify that you are not allergic to any of the individual ingredients contained in the Therapeutic-M vitamin product. Further, you should go over your complete medical history with your doctor prior to taking a Therapeutic-M vitamin supplement. A doctor can evaluate your medical history and determine if Therapeutic-M is the best vitamin supplement for you to take. If you have certain medical conditions such as a vitamin B12 deficiency, alcohol problems or complications with your liver, your doctor may recommend an alternative vitamin supplement.

Interactions

Do not take Therapeutic-M vitamins if you take any thyroid medications, antacids or antibiotics as the iron in Therapeutic-M vitamin supplements can interact with these drugs. Additionally, children should not take Therapeutic-M vitamins because of this iron content. Further, you should not take this vitamin supplement in combination with milk or other dairy products, calcium supplements or any antacids that hold calcium. Your body will have a more difficult time absorbing many of the ingredients found in therapeutic-M after consuming other products that contain calcium.

Side Effects

Common side effects associated with Therapeutic-M vitamins include diarrhea, constipation and an upset stomach. In many cases, you will experience these side effects for only a limited amount of time while your body adjusts to the Therapeutic-M vitamin supplement. If you experience any side effect that does not go away after taking the Therapeutic-M vitamin supplement for a few days, you should discontinue use and seek medical attention.
