One A Day is a brand of multivitamin dietary supplements sold by Bayer Healthcare. There are a variety of One A Day vitamins marketed specifically towards men. As dietary supplements, these products do not require approval by the Food and Drug Administration, so you should always consult a physician if you plan on using them.

Men's Health Formula

One A Day Men's Health Formula is one variety of multivitamin Bayer markets towards men. This multivitamin contains 20 vitamins and minerals, as well as lycopene, even though the USDA does not make recommendations about how much lycopene men need in a day. The supplement contains 60 mg of vitamin C, or 100 percent of the recommended daily value, and 120 mg of magnesium, or 30 percent of the daily value.

Men's Pro Edge

The One A Day Men's Pro Edge multivitamin is targeted towards men who have a more physically active lifestyle than the average person. It contains 20 vitamins and minerals, some of them in higher amounts than the Men's Health Formula version. For example, Men's Pro Edge contains 80 mg of vitamin C, or 133 percent of the daily value, and 200 mg of magnesium, or 50 percent of the daily value, according to the Bayer website.

Men's 50+ Advantage

As people age, their nutritional requirements change. The One A Day Men's 50+ Advantage contains 22 vitamins and minerals, as well as ginkgo biloba extract and lycopene, and is marketed at men aged 50 and older.

Multivitamins

While the One A Day line of multivitamins provides a variety of vitamins and nutrients, many men can get enough nutrition in their diet by eating a balanced diet. However, the Harvard School of Public Health reports that taking a daily multivitamin can be a good insurance policy to help you ensure you get your daily nutritional requirements. Men on blood thinners, aspirin treatment or other prescription medications should consult a physician before taking any daily multivitamin.
