Market Day is a company known for producing food products that civic groups from schools or churches can sell as a part of their fundraising efforts. Products offered are often easy weeknight meal options, which make it a common opportunity for school programs. Market Day Chicken Tenders, also known as frozen chicken gems, are one of these food options. Cooking the chicken tenders is an easy task, which allows you to use the chicken tenders in a variety of ways.

Cooking

Step 1

Keep Market Day Chicken Tenders frozen, and cook the chicken tenders from the frozen state. Cooking them in the microwave is not advised.

Step 2

Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 3

Place the Market Day Chicken Tenders on a baking sheet. Spread them evenly on the baking sheet.

Step 4

Place the chicken tenders in the oven and cook them for approximately 15 minutes. Remove the chicken tenders from the oven and turn them over.

Step 5

Put the chicken tenders back in the oven and cook them for an additional 15 minutes. If you are unsure of when they are done, use a meat thermometer to test the internal temperature. Ideally, the Market Day Chicken Tenders should reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 6

Remove the chicken tenders from the oven when they are done. The internal temperature will be very hot. Let them cool for five to 10 minutes before serving them.

Use in Salad

Step 1

Chop Market Day Chicken Tenders and place them on a salad as an additional source of protein. To do this, cook the chicken tender for 30 minutes in an oven heated to 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes, turning them at the 15-minute point.

Step 2

Remove the chicken tenders when they are done and allow them to cool. Cut them diagonally into strips.

Step 3

Chop the salad ingredients, which may include lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms and carrots, and place them into a bowl. Top the salad with the pieces of Market Day Chicken Tenders and serve them with your favorite salad dressing.
