Cheerleaders perform cheer routines at many sporting events and competitions. In an effort to support the team they are rooting for, cheerleaders end their cheer routine with screams, shouts of support and jumps. The herky is the most basic jump performed in cheerleading routines. For most, this jump is not difficult to learn, but is a skill jump that takes time and dedication.
