When summer comes around and using the oven heats up the kitchen to uncomfortable temperatures, grilling becomes a viable alternative. From chops to ribs and roasts, pork is a lean alternative to grilling red meat. The Holland line of gas grills includes an array of styles and sizes to further enhance and personalize your grilling experience as well as a written guarantee of no flare-ups.
Step 1
Season the pork according to your preference and the cut of meat. Soak the pork in a marinade for 12 to 24 hours in the refrigerator, or apply a rub right before grilling.
Step 2
Set your Holland grill on high, and close the lid to allow the grill to preheat for 15 to 20 minutes.
Step 3
Place the pork onto the grill and close the lid.
Step 4
Turn the pork over with tongs after five to 10 minutes. Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the cut.
Step 5
Check the internal temperature of the pork with a meat thermometer. When the temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit and holds that temperature for three minutes, remove the pork from the grill.
Tips and Warnings
- Store leftover grilled pork in the refrigerator for two to three days, or freeze it in a freezer bag for up to four months.
