How to Use a Chest Exerciser

The Chest Exerciser by Dynabender is a long bar with coils in the center and black rubber handles on the ends. The coils create resistance as you twist and squeeze the bar at different angles to target your chest muscles. The purple Chest Exerciser offers 25 lbs. of resistance and the black Chest Exerciser offers 50 lbs. of resistance. Start with the basic chest squeeze exercise then make small body adjustments to increase the difficulty of the exercise.

Hold the Chest Exerciser a couple inches in front of your chest with your palms facing the floor.

Step 2

Squeeze the handles down and in. Try to touch your hands together if possible. The device should be in the shape of an inverted "U."

Tips and Warnings

  • Although you cannot adjust the tension on the Chest Exerciser, you can adjust the difficulty of the exercise by changing your body position. Hold the device farther from you to make the exercise more challenging. Bring it closer to your body to make the exercise easier. Exhale as you push the handles together; inhale as you release the handles.
  • Consult a physician prior to starting an exercise program.
