Max Muscle Sports Nutrition company manufactures MaxPro whey protein powder. Since 1991, Max Muscle Sports Nutrition has been providing products and services to the public. They provide a full line of protein powders and other sports nutrition supplements, personalized fitness and nutrition plans, trained counselors, and a sports nutrition magazine. MaxPro whey is one of the protein supplement products made by Max Muscle.

Protein

MaxPro is a protein concentrate containing a whey protein blend. Whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate and potassium caseinate are blended together to provide a whey protein powder, which is more bio-available, or provides higher nitrogen retention. This helps your muscles recover faster after a strenuous workout. Whey protein comes from milk and is a highly digestible source of protein. Whey protein concentrate has a higher percentage of fat and lactose than whey protein isolate, which has the highest purity level around 90 percent protein.

Vitamins and Minerals

MaxPro whey contains mostly the whey protein blend. However, it does contain 10 percent of the recommended daily allowance, RDA, of calcium, 14 percent of the RDA for potassium, 3 percent sodium, 30 g of protein, or 60 percent of the RDA and 130 calories per scoop.

Other Ingredients

Other ingredients in MaxPro are amino acids, flavors and preservatives. MaxPro contains L-Glycine, non-fat milk solids, guar gum, Luo Han fruit concentrate, cellulose gum and natural vanilla flavor. MaxPro flavors other than the natural vanilla contain natural and artificial flavors, FD& C yellow no. 6, acesulfame potassium, sucralose sweetener, FD& C red no. 40 and cocoa in the chocolate flavor.

Other Product Information

MaxPro whey protein concentrate comes in six different flavors banana, chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, orange blast and natural vanilla. The recommended serving size is one scoop, 35 g, mixed with milk or water up to three times per day. Nonfat or low-fat milk provides extra protein with an added bonus of carbohydrates and reduced fat. There are approximately 52 servings per 4 lb. container.
