Soy may be a more natural ways to induce ovulation and increase your chances of conception. Research is conflicting as to whether soy isoflavone supplements aid in fertility. Some research states that since soy is a plant-based source of estrogen, it has negative effects on a women's menstrual cycle. However, for women that struggle to conceive, soy isoflavones taken for a short period of time at the beginning of the menstrual cycle may induce ovulation by tricking the body into producing more estrogen. Talk to your doctor or healthcare provider before starting any new supplement or dietary change.
