You may be the victim of a bad wax job or have become overzealous with the tweezers and plucked away your eyebrow hair. Very thin or non-existent eyebrows may not be a look that you are happy to have and you probably want to find methods to have the eyebrow hair grow back. You do have several options open to you to make your eyebrows grow. In the meantime, you can hide the missing hair with the use of an eyebrow pencil.
Step 1
Encourage the growth of your eyebrow hair with a nutritionally sound diet. Vitamin and nutritional deficiencies, particularly protein, vitamin E, vitamin A, and vitamin C, can make it difficult to grow out eyebrow hair. Eat a diet rich in vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and lean proteins, like egg whites, tofu, chicken breast, and fish.
Step 2
Take a hair growth supplement to help your eyebrow hair grow back. There are blends that include many of the nutrients required for hair growth. You can find these supplements from a nutritional supply store and some examples include Hair Energizer Vitamins and Viviscal Hair Growth Vitamins.
Step 3
Massage the eyebrows using a small amount of castor oil. One type of home remedy you can use for eyebrow hair growth is castor oil. Apply a couple of drops of castor oil to your fingertips and massage the eyebrows. The massaging motion will increase blood flow to the area and potentially stimulate hair growth.
Step 4
Use a topical treatment for eyebrow hair growth. Products used to treat balding can also be applied to the eyebrows. Minoxidil is often the active ingredient in these products and the topical solution will be applied on a daily basis. An example of a name brand hair loss product you can use is Rogaine. A hair growth product specifically used for eyebrows is Librow.
