Freeze breaded chicken breast for a quick meal any night of the week. Grab the crunchy chicken piece out of the freezer and put it right into the oven for a meal that is ready within minutes. Properly freezing the chicken is essential to keeping it tasting fresh and preventing freezer burn. When you take it out of the freezer, it should taste as fresh as the day you prepared it.

Step 1

Prepare the breaded chicken breast according to your recipe.

Step 2

Place the breaded chicken breast on a rimmed baking sheet lined with waxed paper.

Step 3

Place the baking sheet in the freezer until the chicken breast is frozen firmly.

Step 4

Remove the chicken breast from the freezer and wrap it in plastic wrap.

Step 5

Place the wrapped chicken breast in a freezer-safe airtight container and seal it tightly, squeezing out any excess air, if necessary.

Step 6

Place the container in the freezer.
