Both winter melon, also known as fuzzy melon, and green apples are high in vitamins C, B6, B2 and B1. Additionally, they both have a high moisture content to help hydrate your body and reduce toxins. Rather than drinking apple juice straight, add winter melon to the mix for its subtle flavor and health benefits. You need a fruit juicer and a sharp knife to make winter melon and green apple juice.

Step 1

Peel the winter melon wedge with a sharp knife and cut it into 1-inch cubes. Discard the skin. You should have approximately 2/3 cup of winter melon cubes.

Step 2

Use the sharp knife or an apple corer to remove the cores of the two green apples. Peel the apples and chop them into 1/2-inch pieces.

Step 3

Place the winter melon cubes and apple pieces into a fruit juicer. Following the manufacturer's instructions, place the drinking glass beneath the juice spout. Turn the juicer on until it has juiced all the melon cubes and apple pieces.

Step 4

Add honey to the glass of juice and stir it for 10 seconds to blend. Enjoy the 2 cups of winter melon and green apple juice immediately or refrigerate it for up to 12 hours.
