Exercise videos provide a great option for your at-home workout. One of the ways to achieve success in your workouts is to use a variety of types of exercises. If you have not tried a hip-hop dance workout, Quick Fix offers a cardio exercise video to increase your heart rate, burn calories and teach you dance moves.
Hip-Hop
Hip-hop dance incorporates low-impact movements and a funky beat. The music in the Quick Fix hip-hop video is not fast. You do not have to worry about tripping over your own feet or trying to keep up with an instructor who appears to be on fast forward. Hip-hop dance requires you to be loose and free with your movements, so you can release the worry about using perfect form. Since you are in the privacy of your own home, have fun with the dance moves and enjoy your workout.
Quick Fix
The Quick Fix Cardio Hip Hop workout video contains three 10-minute exercise segments. Each segment uses a different dance sequence to challenge your body. Use one dance portion when you have limited workout time available. Combine two or three dance segments when you want a longer workout. The video focuses on improving your cardiovascular system with hip-hop dance movements. Your heart and breathing rates will increase as you sweat and shake to the music.
Choreography
The choreography included in the Quick Fix Cardio Hip Hop workout begins with one base movement of eight counts that you can return to at any point during the exercise segment. The combinations build off the eight-count movement and are added another eight counts at a time. You return to the first combination as you add on until you complete the dance segment. Toward the end of the 10 minutes, your complete routine is performed a few times to keep your heart rate elevated.
Instructor
Juliane Arney is the instructor for the Quick Fix Cardio Hip Hop workout. Arney is a fitness presenter, educator, instructor and choreographer. In 2004, the IDEA Health and Fitness Association named her one of the top three fitness instructors in the world. Arney choreographed all the dance moves in the Quick Fix video and remains an active dance, spinning and yoga instructor in California.
