You can store them in your closet or in a small area on your floor. A pair of adjustable dumbbells eliminates the need for a dumbbell rack to store multiple dumbbells, freeing up more space in your workout area. The Ironmaster quick-lock handle allows you to change the weight by adding weight plates with a partial turn of the locking screws. The base set allows you to lift from 5 up to 75 lbs. in each hand. If you find you need heavier weight, you can buy an add-on kit of up to 120 lbs. per dumbbell. The weight is adjustable in 2 1/2-lb. increments. The dumbbells are 6 1/2 inches wide and no longer than 14 1/2 inches long. The base set includes a stand for storage.

Bowflex

Bowflex Selec Ttech adjustable dumbbells let you change the amount of weight with the turn of a dial. When you turn the selection dial, the Selecttech locks in only the amount of weight you choose to lift. The Selecttech adjustable dumbbells come in the 552 and 1090 models. The 552 model replaces the need for 15 sets of traditional dumbbells. The weight adjusts from 5 lbs. up to 52 1/2 lbs. per dumbbell. They adjust in 2 1/2-lbs. increments for the first 25 lbs. The 1090 model replaces the need for 17 sets of regular dumbbells. The weight adjusts from 10 lbs. up to 90 lbs. in 5-lb. increments.

Bayou

You adjust the weight on these dumbbells by sliding the adjustment knob to the amount of weight you want to lift. The dumbbells come in 25-lb. and 50-lb. sizes. The 25 lbs. dumbbell adjusts from 5 lbs up to 25 lbs.. The 50-lb. dumbbell adjusts from 10 lbs. up to 50 lbs. Each pair comes with its own custom storage trays.
