In today's economy, consumers are saving money any way they can. Many people have discovered that bone marrow contains a rich source of protein. Grilling bones allows you to serve up a low-cost, nutritious meal.
Step 1
Mix the sesame oil, freshly ground thyme, ground pepper and sea salt in a large bowl. Mix until the ingredients are blended.
Step 2
Add 10 to 20 center-cut beef or veal marrow bones to the sesame oil mixture. Stir the bones until they are well-coated. Preheat the electric grill to medium-high heat, about 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 3
Wrap the marrow bones in foil, creating a pouch. Place two bones in each pouch and seal the pouches well. Place them on the heated electric grill and grill until the marrow reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
